Dialogue on "Dong Thap University - Celebrating 50 years of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India"

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India (January 7, 1972 - January 7, 2022), in the afternoon of January 13, Dong Thap University (Dong Thap University) cooperated with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Thap Union of Friendship Organizations held the dialogue "Dong Thap University - Celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India".

The participants, including Mr. Luong Thanh Tan Vice Rector of Dong Thap University, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi - Consul General of the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, and Mr. Le Xuan Hai – Chairman of Dong Thap Union of Friendship Organizations, lecturers and 300 participating students, shared their ideas to clarify the strong and friendly diplomatic relationship between the two countries over the past five decades; roles and duties of the young generation, including students of DThU in continuing to promote the good values that the leaders and people of the two countries have cultivated.

At dialogue, Mr. Luong Thanh Tan Vice Rector of Dong Thap University also exchanged information and wished to have the opportunity to cooperate with Tirupati Institute of Technology (Republic of India) to open up many research and learning opportunities for lecturers, students of the two units in the future…
