The 1st International Conference on Mathematics and Mathematics Education

On 25 July 2020, Dong Thap University held the 1st International Conference on Mathematics and Mathematics Education.

The main aim of the conference is to promote the academic exchange and strengthen relationships between universities from different countries. Several foreign universities such as Samar State University – The Philippines, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology – India, Thammasat University - Thailand co-hosted this international conference.

With two forms of participation - online and offline, the conference had 19 presentations, including online ones, about Mathematics and Mathematics Education delivered by experienced researchers and experts in Vietnam and other countries. The conference was organized into 4 sessions under the coordination of the following chairmans: Dr. Nguyen Van Dung, Dong Thap University; Dr. Nguyen Tien Trung, Vietnam Journal of Education,
Ministry of Education and Training; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Anh Vu, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

The conference received more than 50 research papers from over 100 researchers in many countries. The conference ended successfully with high satisfaction of presenters and participants.
