On September 27, Dong Thap University organized a training program on developing digital learning materials and online courses on the MOOC platform, aimed at enhancing professional exchange, updating approaches to digital learning material development, and promoting innovation in the University’s education and training activities.
The workshop featured Dr. Nguyen Hoai Nam from the Division of Technology and Digital Human Resources Development, Department of Science, Technology and Information, Ministry of Education and Training, as the guest speaker.
During the workshop, the speaker presented key aspects of the development, design, organization, and management of digital learning materials and online courses on the MOOC platform. He also shared guidance on utilizing the functions of the Ministry of Education and Training’s MOOC platform for teaching and learning. The presentations and discussions helped clarify the requirements, processes, and approaches for integrating digital learning materials into education and training activities.
In addition to the professional content, the speaker and lecturers discussed practical issues, challenges, and difficulties encountered in developing digital learning materials and organizing online courses at the University. The insights shared during the training provided useful references for appropriate application to individual subjects and courses, taking into account specific teaching and training conditions.
Through the workshop, lecturers and staff gained further professional knowledge, practical experience, and perspectives on digital learning material development, supporting the research, development, and delivery of online courses that meet education and training requirements in a digital environment.
