On September 19 and 20, 2026, a delegation from Dong Thap University, led by Dr. Truong Tan Dat – Rector of the University, visited and held working sessions with Khanh Hoa University, Nha Trang University, and Dalat University. The visits contributed to strengthening connections among higher education institutions while expanding opportunities for cooperation in education and training, professional development, scientific research, and human resource development.
During the working sessions, Dong Thap University and the partner universities discussed their needs, strengths, and potential areas of cooperation, with a focus on part-time education for working learners, distance learning, professional development programs, postgraduate education, activities related to the VSTEP English proficiency assessment, and scientific research.
Through these discussions, the universities shared a common aim of leveraging their respective strengths, enhancing the exchange of experience and resources, and gradually developing cooperation programs that respond to learners’ needs for further education and professional development as well as local human resource development needs.
In particular, expanding connections with higher education institutions in Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong provides Dong Thap University with further opportunities to develop its cooperation network and diversify its education and professional development offerings, helping make suitable programs more accessible to learners across different regions.
In addition to professional discussions, the Dong Thap University delegation toured facilities supporting education and training and learned about organizational and management models as well as practical experience at the universities. These activities provide a basis for the institutions to further explore potential areas for cooperation, resource sharing, and joint implementation in the coming period.
Through these working visits, Dong Thap University continues to demonstrate a proactive approach to expanding partnerships, strengthening connections with higher education institutions, and building on its strengths in education and training, professional development, and scientific research. In doing so, the University is gradually extending the reach of its educational activities, enhancing its capacity to meet society’s lifelong learning needs, and creating further opportunities for professional exchange, research, and staff development.
Guided by the orientation of “Creating Knowledge – Serving the Community,” Dong Thap University continues to focus on building and developing practical and sustainable partnerships and effectively leveraging the strengths of all parties, thereby contributing to enhanced quality in education and training, scientific research, and community service.
