On the morning of September 7, at the Innovation Meeting Room, Dong Thap University held the September 2026 Heads of Units Briefing Conference to review the implementation of tasks in August and agree on key priorities for September.
The Conference was chaired by Dr. Truong Tan Dat – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector, with the participation of Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van De – former Secretary of the Party Committee and former Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Van Thong – Vice Rector; Dr. Cao Dao Thep – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Vu – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Si Thang – Vice Rector; leaders of the advisory and supporting bodies of the University Party Committee; the President of the University Trade Union; the Chair of the Science and Training Council; heads of units under and affiliated with the University; leaders of faculties under the School of Education; the Secretary of the University’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; and secretaries to the Rectoral Board.
The Conference focused on reviewing the results of task implementation in August across the University’s areas of operation, while also reviewing progress on key tasks for 2026. Delegates discussed matters related to personnel and organizational affairs, admissions and training, science and technology, quality assurance, student affairs, international cooperation and communications, finance, facilities, digital transformation, and administrative procedure reform.
Through the Conference, University leaders and units discussed difficulties and challenges encountered in carrying out their tasks, thereby strengthening coordination, improving the effectiveness of management and administration, and ensuring timely implementation of work across the University.
In September, Dong Thap University will continue to focus on implementing key tasks as planned, strengthen coordination among units, proactively address difficulties, and improve the quality of task implementation, contributing to the achievement of the University’s objectives for 2026.
As part of the Conference, the University presented the Decision appointing Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam, M.A., Deputy Director in charge of the Le Vu Hung Learning Resources Center, as Director of the Center for a five-year term.
On this occasion, the University commended and rewarded collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in August, recognizing their positive contributions to the implementation of tasks and the University’s overall activities.
