During March 21–22, 2026, the training program under “The 4th Mekong Delta Student Startup Idea Competition 2026 (INNOBE 2026)” took place in Tra Vinh, attracting a large number of students from across the region.
Participating in the program, Dong Thap University students from the Faculty of Economics – Law and the Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment, including Vo Duy Khanh and Vo Ngoc Duy Man, introduced their startup idea through the booth “Au Sen Moc.” The project features naturally sourced products aimed at promoting health and environmental friendliness, drawing significant interest from visitors.
Within the training framework, participating teams experienced a real-world production–business model, from planning, cost calculation, and sales organization to profit accounting. The marketplace session, held from 10:00 to 18:30, provided opportunities for teams to directly showcase products, reach customers, and implement business strategies in a practical environment.
In addition, students took part in activities such as the “Shirt Production and Business Model” and the “Chu Dong Tu Market,” helping them develop sales skills, financial management abilities, and the capacity to apply startup ideas in real-life contexts. They also gained valuable knowledge on project development, team building, pitching for investment, and creating brand identity.
According to the Organizing Committee, the final round of INNOBE 2026 is expected to take place on April 29, 2026, at Bac Lieu University. This will be an opportunity for participating teams—including Dong Thap University’s “Au Sen Moc” group—to further refine their ideas, demonstrate their capabilities, and spread the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students..
