On the morning of February 7, at the Dong Thap University venue, more than 500 Party members working and studying at the university actively participated in studying, learning, grasping, and implementing the Resolution of the XIV National Party Congress at the national conference. The conference was held in a on-site format combined with online connections to ministries, sectors, localities, agencies, and units across the country.
The conference focused on studying, discussing, and analyzing the core contents, new points, and breakthroughs in the documents of the XIV National Party Congress; and at the same time implementing the Action Program to carry out the Resolution of the XIV Congress in order to unify awareness and actions throughout the Party, the people, and the armed forces. Based on that, Party committees at all levels will lead and direct the development of specific plans to bring the Resolution into practice in a synchronous and effective manner, contributing to realizing the country’s development goals in the new period.
At the conference, delegates listened to leaders and experts present 10 key thematic reports, clarifying fundamental contents, guiding viewpoints, and strategic orientations of the Resolution of the XIV National Party Congress, including: New and core issues and lessons from 40 years of renovation; the Action Program for implementing the Resolution; the summary report on Party building during the XIII Congress term and the review of the implementation of the Party Charter; assessment of socio‑economic development goals for 2021–2030 and the 2026–2030 plan; promoting the strength of great national unity in the new era; new thinking and perceptions on national defense and security; developing foreign affairs in line with the nation’s historical stature, culture, and position; the outline for summarizing 100 years of the Party leading the Vietnamese revolution and orientations for national development; and renewing inspection and supervision work to meet mission requirements in the new context.
The presented contents clarified the significance, requirements, and specific solutions for implementing the Resolution of the XIV National Party Congress throughout the entire political system, contributing to building a strong Party and promoting fast and sustainable national development.
