A Memorandum of Understanding between Dong Thap University and Da-Yeh University, Taiwan

        On the 2nd of June, 2016, the delegation from Da-Yeh University, Taiwan, led by Dr. Dong-Sing Wuu, President of Da-Yeh University (DYU), along with  Ms. Tina Ou, Secrectary of Teipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City paid a working visit to Dong Thap University (DThU).
 
        Warmly welcoming the delegation was Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van De, Rector of DThU, together with other staff.
 
        At the meeting, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van De introduced some general information of DThU to the delegates, expressing the hope that DThU and DYU could join hands in the fields of education and cultural exchange. Dr. Dong-Sing Wuu also gave a brief introduction about DYU and asserted that he could see many potential cooperation opportunities between the two universities, especially in training human resources of Vietnamese language for DYU as well as  those of Chinese  language for DThU by exchanging lecturers and students.
 
        Attending the meeting, Ms. Tina Ou, Secrectary of Teipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City, introduced to DThU some scholarship programs for lecturers and students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Taiwanese volunteer teachers in Vietnam, short-term study programs. 
 
        At the end of the meeting, Dong Thap University and Da-Yeh University signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the fields of education, research and science to mark a new step forward of the mutual cooperation.
