On the morning of October 23, Dong Thap University, in collaboration with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), organized the National Basic Futsal Referee Training Course 2025.
Attending the program were representatives from the Vietnam Football Federation, including Mr. Bui Viet Cuong – Referee Operations Department; Mr. Huynh Nguyen Thanh – Referee Instructor; Mr. Thi Ly Hoang Ha – Referee Instructor; and Mr. Pham Chu Thien – Referee Assessor. From the Dong Thap Football Federation, Mr. Vuong Thanh Trung – Secretary General – was present.
Representing Dong Thap University were Mr. Cao Dao Thep – Vice Rector; Mr. Le Van Tung – Vice Dean of the School of Education; and Mr. Tran Anh Hao – Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts Education.
The training course is organized to foster and develop a competent national Futsal referee force, with a focus on expertise, physical readiness, and professional ethics to meet the growing requirements of national tournaments.The program also provides an opportunity for trainees to update their knowledge, practice essential skills, and be assessed according to the standards of the Vietnam Football Federation, thereby contributing to improving referee quality and promoting Futsal activities in the Mekong Delta region.
Taking place from October 23 to 26, 2025, the course is delivered directly by experienced instructors and referee assessors from the Vietnam Football Federation. Trainees are given opportunities to study, exchange knowledge, and engage in practical training in a professional environment.
