On the morning of October 20, Dong Thap University held the Opening Ceremony of the first course on National Defense and Security Education for full-time students admitted in 2025.
Course 1 is conducted from October 20 to November 9, 2025, with the participation of 457 students from the 2025 cohort, including those from the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts Education (Physical Education, Music Education, Fine Arts Education, Sports Training) and the Faculty of Political Education – Educational Management (Civic Education, Political Education, Educational Psychology).
The course provides intensive instruction in National Defense and Security Education modules, aiming to develop students’ character, qualities, and competencies; build discipline and agility in collective activities; and encourage active participation in strengthening the all-people national defense and people’s security posture. Through this training, students cultivate awareness and responsibility for national defense while studying and training at the University, meeting the demands of safeguarding the nation.Photos of the Ceremony:
