DThU - On the morning of August 27, Dong Thap University, in collaboration with Kun Shan University (Taiwan), held an online opening ceremony for the Preparatory Chinese Language Course and introduced the International Industrial Talent Education Special Scholarship Program (INTENSE).
The event was attended by representatives from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City, university leaders, experts from Taiwan, and the Rectoral Board, along with heads of faculties and relevant units at Dong Thap University.
The Preparatory Chinese Course has attracted over 60 students from various colleges and universities within and beyond the province. The course will be delivered in person at Dong Thap University by qualified lecturers and is scheduled to begin in September. It aims to equip students with essential language skills and knowledge in preparation for their academic, research, and cultural journey in Taiwan.
During the ceremony, Taiwanese representatives introduced the INTENSE scholarship program, an opportunity for Vietnamese students aspiring to study and pursue long-term careers in Taiwan. Participants will receive support for tuition fees, airfare, application procedures, Chinese language training, and living expenses during the initial period of their studies. Additionally, students will have the chance to intern and work at enterprises during their studies with post-graduation employment opportunities to gain experience and enhance professional skills.
The program is open to all majors, offering opportunities to pursue bachelor's degrees, second degrees, or master's programs in Taiwan, while also gaining valuable international work experience.
