September 16 – Dong Thap University, in collaboration with Continental Textile Co., Ltd., held a closing ceremony and certificate awarding event for the first Textile and Garment Training Course for Chinese Language students from the DHQT21 class.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Xu Feng, General Director of Continental Textile Co., Ltd.; Mr. Yang Zhen, HR Director of the Group; and Mr. Wang Zhi Ke, an instructor from Shandong Vocational Institute of Science and Technology. Representing Dong Thap University, Mr. Cao Dao Thep, Vice Rector; Ms. Nguyen Anh Thu, Head of the International Affairs Office; and 40 students who completed the course received their certificates.
The 224-hour training, which commenced on September 6, 2023, was delivered through  a combination of in-person and online sessions led by faculty from Shandong Vocational Institute of Science and Technology. Upon graduation, students have the opportunity to work with Lu Thai Group's companies in Vietnam, including Continental Textile Co., Ltd. and Louvre Textile Co., Ltd.
The training program aims to meet the demand for skilled technical personnel in Vietnam’s textile industry, foster cross-border educational cooperation, and supply human resources that promote economic, trade, and technical exchanges between China and Vietnam.                    This initiative also strengthens strategic collaboration between Dong Thap University and foreign enterprises seeking high-quality labor in Vietnam.
