September 4 – Dong Thap University officially launched its second specialized training course in textile and garment for third-year Chinese Language majors, admitted in 2022.
The university has partnered with Continental Textile Co., Ltd., and Shandong Vocational Institute of Science and Technology to offer this "Continental Textile Class," an intensive program designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills. 
The training course is conducted by instructors from Shandong Vocational Institute of Science and Technology, combining in-person and online sessions for a total of 224 hours. Participation is contingent upon a selection process, targeting students interested  in interning and working with Continental Textile Co., Ltd.
Graduates will be eligible for positions at Lu Thai Group's companies in Vietnam, such as Continental Textile Co., Ltd. and Louvre Textile Co., Ltd. Additionally, the companies  will offer scholarships based on course performance, covering up to 40% of the class.
This program not only addresses the demand for skilled technical personnel in Vietnam’s textile industry but also fosters cross-border educational collaboration and promotes economic, trade, and technical exchanges between China and Vietnam. It strengthens the strategic partnership between Dong Thap University and foreign companies and enterprises in need of high-quality labor in Vietnam.
