On October 23, 2024, a delegation of faculty and students from Dong Thap University (DThU) visited the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). Mr. Xu Zhou, Deputy Consul General of China in HCMC, guided the DThU faculty and students on a tour of the photo exhibition “All for the People,” which showcased the achievements of the “Belt and Road” development strategy in Southern Vietnam. Additionally, the DThU delegation was introduced to China’s modernization achievements and the relationship between China and Vietnam.

Mr. Xu Zhou highly valued the cooperation between Dong Thap University and Chinese universities and businesses in recent years. He encouraged young students to study diligently to become future ambassadors of the friendship between China and Vietnam.

Representatives from the Consulate General’s Foreign Affairs Office and other relevant departments also participated in the event, sharing with the DThU faculty and students the practical achievements of cooperation and cultural exchange stories between China and Vietnam. DThU students enthusiastically asked questions and took commemorative photos, enjoying a lively and friendly atmosphere of exchange.
