On March 28th, the Trade Union of Dong Thap University organized a specialized seminar on "Cybersecurity Law and Safe Use of Social Networks" for university staff, employees, and students. The seminar was presented by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Truong Giang, Deputy Head of the Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of the Provincial Police.
The seminar "Cybersecurity Law and Safe and Civilized Use of Social Networks" aimed to enhance understanding of cybersecurity laws and responsibilities in the online space among university staff, employees, and students. It also provided guidance on safe internet usage skills to protect personal information and data.
The program encouraged university staff, employees, and students to actively and lawfully use social media platforms, aiming to build a positive and friendly online community in accordance with cybersecurity laws. This event provided an opportunity for university staff, employees, and students to meet, interact, and share experiences in identifying potential risks associated with current social media platforms.
