On October 25, Mr. Cao Dao Thép, Vice Rector of Dong Thap University received and worked with the delegation from Champasak University (Laos People's Democratic Republic), led by Dr. Vilavong Souksan, Director of the Center for IT and Communication and Dr. Sonxay Luangoudom, a Center’s staff.

In the working session, representatives of the two counterparts took their turn to introduce their institutions, shared information about their own training experience and activities. At the same time, the two sides’ representing members discussed future cooperation programs about training and research activities,  about student and faculty exchanges, with thematic reports for students of information technology being one of the cooperation items.

Representatives of Dong Thap University also took the opportunity to invite the whole visiting delegation members to attend the University Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2023 – 2024, scheduled on October 26th, 2023.

At the end of the meeting, the two counterparts agreed on a number of oriented cooperation contents on training and scientific research from which the two institution’s professional  units would implement in the coming time.
