MEETING BETWEEN THE DONG THAP UNIVERSITY TRADE UNION EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND EMPLOYEES

On July 26, a meeting between the Dong Thap University Trade Union Executive Committee and employees was organized on the occasion of the 72nd  anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Education Union (22/7/1951 – 22/7/2023) and the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (28/7/1929 - 28/7/2023).This meeting aimed to show the care of the Trade Union Executive Committee for the lives and aspirations of trade union members and employees, and it was also an opportunity for the leaders of the universiy and functional offices and divisions to ascertain thoughts and aspirations of trade union members and employees to have prompt solutions to hindrances to better care activities for employees.
At the meeting, trade union members and employees were informed about the results of annual life care activities of the university’s Trade Union, and were notified policies and regimes to help employees better understand policies and their rights.
In the discusions of the meeting, all raised questions about policies and regimes including retirement, overtime work were satisfactorily addressed pursuant to the actual situation and the provisions of law by representatives of the Trade Union Executive Committee, giving employees more motivation to work to develop the family economy and improve their lives.
