From 18 to 28 of November 2013, Mrs Xuyen Thi Dangers came to work as a volunteer teacher for Social work classes at Dong Thap University. Madam Xuyen brought her knowledge and practical experience in the field of Social work to the students through a lot of interesting activities and necessary basic knowledge of English for future Social workers.

Aslo on November 28, Prof. Scott Frey – Senior Fulbright Scholar presented two presentations about human and environment: “Environmental problems” and “Ship Breaking in the World-system: The case of India and Bangladesh” to Dong Thap Univeristy’s students of faculties such as Resources and Environment, Culture-Tourism, Political Education-Social Work, and Foreign Language Teacher Education. Prof. Frey helped the students have a deep and many-sided look on environmental pollution, especially the concept of ship breaking – a brand-new one to the students.
