On the morning of June 17, the Union of Dong Thap University organized 2023 summer activities for children and also celebrated Vietnamese Family Day (June 28). The event attracted more than 100 young participants.

Attending the event were Mr. Pham Van Hiep, President of the University's Trade Union, and also Head of Student Affairs and Communication Department; Mr. Tran Van Luan, Vice Chairman of the School Union; other members in the Executive Committee of the School's Trade Union, members of union groups, representatives of the university departments, staff, and the presence of more than 100 teenagers and children who are the university staff’s children.

The highlight of the program was the children’s performances with rich and attractive contents such as an English game; instructions for making jelly birthday cake with drawing jelly, and children's football. All of those brought a lot of joy to the event participants.

This was really a meaningful gift at the beginning of the summer vacation. It helped strengthen the university staff’s children motivation to try to learn and behave well assuring their parents’ business. This annual activity not only shows care to the university staff but is also an opportunity for teenagers, children, and staff families to meet up, exchange, bond, and feel proud of their achievements and good traditions.

At the program, the Union of Dong Thap University rewarded and presented meaningful gifts to more than 100 children who are high achievers in the 2022-2023 academic year.
