On April 27, Dong Thap University in cooperation with Ben Tre Department of Education and Training solemnly organized the Closing Ceremony and awarded certificates to trainees for fully completing the fostering courses for secondary school teachers of Natural Sciences, History, and Geography.

In the academic year 2022 - 2023, Dong Thap University cooperated with Ben Tre Department of Education and Training to implement fostering courses for secondary school teachers of Natural Sciences, History, and Geography with a total of  941 trainees, 901 of which (95.75%) were awarded the certificates of completion in the 1st phase. Especially, there were 19 trainees in 18 classes with the highest scores were commended for excellent achievements of the whole course.

Reportedly, the contents of the fostering courses were designed with a combination of theory and practice. Therefore, in teaching-learning activities, lecturers tried to conduct these two simultaneously – combining theory and practice; promoting personal knowledge, experience, and practical skills; enhancing skills of applying active pedagogical methods to solve problems in teaching Natural Sciences, History, and Geography for trainees to enable their skills of self-studying and self-fostering after the course.

Currently, Dong Thap University continues to enroll trainees in the fostering courses pertinent to the General Education Program 2018 for teachers. Venues for the courses are flexible depending on the actual situation of the Department of Education and Training in the localities.
