On October 23rd, Dong Thap University cooperated with Thammasat University (Thailand) to organize an the international scientific conference entitled "The international conference on differential equations, functional equations and some related problems 2021 (ICDEFE2021)”. In order to adapt safely and flexibly to ensure the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic, the conference was held virtually. 

Attending the conference were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Wutiphol Sintunavarat - Thammasat University (Thailand); Dr. Hoang The Tuan - Institute of Mathematics (Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology), Dr. Nguyen Van Luong - Hong Duc University (Thanh Hoa), Dr. Saravanakumar Thangavel - Jeonbuk National University (Korea) together with domestic and foreign scientists, researchers, and students from of Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Nghe An… and Thailand, Korea, Pakistan, India.

From Dong Thap University, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Minh Gian - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Van Dung - Dean of the Faculty of  Mathematics - Information Technology Teacher Education; Dr. Phan Trong Nam - Head of Office of Science and Technology Management; MSc. Nguyen Anh Thu - Head of International Affairs Office and lecturers, students in Mathematics and those interested in the topic of the conference.

In the opening remarks, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Minh Gian - Vice President of Dong Thap University congratulated experts, scientists and researchers who have made many contributions in scientific research activities on Mathematics, contributing to the development of Mathematics in Vietnam and the world. He also showed great appreciation to the Faculty of  Mathematics - Information Technology Teacher Education for collaborating with the organizers of the conference in creating a forum for domestic and foreign scientists, lecturers and students to exchange, share research results regarding to differential equations, functional equations and related issues.

The conference received the attention of researchers and scientists from many educational institutions, research institutes as well as domestic and foreign universities.

The Conference Organizing Committee received presentations focusing on basic research topics on differential equations, functional equations; applications of differential equations, functional equations and other related problems. The conference took place within the day with 15 papers presented. Qualified papers will be published in the Science Journal of Dong Thap University.

The conference is a forum to help lecturers, students and students of Dong Thap University exchange knowledge and research cooperation in the field of Mathematics with domestic and foreign units and individuals.
